Indian digital map provider MapmyIndia released their latest database that includes house addresses for the two metropolitan areas of Delhi NCR and Chandigarh. The company is pursuing this house addresses mapping initiative in other regions. “Releasing house address maps for a country as complex as India was a big challenge, both in terms of data as well as technology,” said Rakesh Verma, Managing Director at MapmyIndia,
The MapmyIndia Maps Version 5.0 also features a directory of 3 million places and voice guidance and instructions in 8 Indian languages besides English.
